There has been a request for my original lyrics to the Smile Song.

By looking at them, you can see how Daniel took my lyrics, tweaked them, and built upon them to make the amazing Smile, Smile, Smile thats in A Friend in Deed.

And I just want you all to know that I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Daniel Ingrams version.

I think it is uplifting and fun and shows how magical a song can become when given to a talented composer.

And I was lucky enough to hear it sung twice by the huge BronyCon crowd last weekend In my writing process, when Im told that theres a song in my episode, I get REALLY excited because I desperately wish that I had the talent to write music I wrote my first song when I was 8 years old.

However, I fear that my musical composing talent has stayed at my 8 year old level (I was no Mozart.) When I get a song, I dive into it 100.

Now, if I can find an existing song to base my song off of, thats always better.

For instance, I had Ever After from Into the Woods in my head for At the Gala.

After I come up with the music and the lyrics for any song, I always make a scratch track of me singing it so folks will know how I hear it.

Turns out, Im the only writer that did this Im such a goofball All the other writers do the lyrics, of course, but they dont do a scratch track.

Whoops But since my dream is to be a musical composer, it was fun for me.

The funny thing is, Daniel never got my version of Smile.

Probably a good thing) Instead, he did his version off my note in the script that the song should have a happy, upbeat feel like Its a Sunshine Day from The Brady Bunch.

And, as Pinkie would say, he Nailed it Still, I thought it would be fun for the fans to hear my original version.

I thought that since The Twist is a dance, it would be cute if Twists mom had a dance name too And then theres Derpy Doo.

Ive read about fans getting riled up because her last name isnt Hooves.

Derpy Hooves is the fans creation You all gave her life So much so, shes now an official toy for Comic Con How awesome is that Anyhow, Ive written something way too long again.

X11 automatically opened as well when I clicked to open the app and came up to the Connect window.

I did not actually connect to a RouterBOARD to test full functionality, but Im just trying to get my MacBook running Snow Leopard to that point.

When I click on the Winbox app the icon pops up on the dock and the Menu Bar gives me the same Wine options as when I run it on the Leopard machine, but the Connect window never appears.

X11 does not open like it does on the Leopard machine and even if I open X11 manually and then run the app, I still never see the Connect window.

Anyone have any suggestions or links to How-Tos that get Winbox working on Snow Leopard (as close to natively as possible).

I dont want to have to hack my machine to pieces to get Winbox working in OS X.

In that case, Ill just create a Boot Camp partition and install Windows, but I just hate to install Windows on my machine for one simple app, not to mention I wont have access to my E-mail, preferred web browser, Skype, etc.
